Guest Soloist

Steve Waterman is available as a guest soloist to work with bands ranging from trio to big band.

With the recent completion of his Jazz trumpet Concerto, Steve is also available to perform this with orchestra, brass band, and wind band. Steve also has a number of stand-alone pieces to perform with these combinations to present a full program.

Steve has many years of experience of performing as a guest soloist and has a wide repertoire of original compositions and arrangements of well-known standards that have seen him performing worldwide in countries such as Russia, Germany, Peru, South Africa, Cuba and many more.

At home as well as being a busy soloist on the jazz club scene, Steve has also performed as a soloist with the Kent Youth Jazz Orchestra, Pendulum(Berkshire Youth Jazz Orchestra), Durham Youth Jazz Orchestra, Durham Alumni Big Band, Devon Youth Jazz Orchestra, The Voice Of The North Big Band and many others.

For a number of these bands, Steve has been commissioned to compose pieces to feature himself with the band.
